This morning as I was spending some time with Jesus, I really started thinking about our nation (don't know why) and how so far we've come. Not a good thing. How truly rich and deep these christian roots were. I love Abraham Lincoln and our founding fathers. So I started googling things that he said. Focus on the Family even mentioned Mr. Abe. Here are some really good ones that I just love and pray that our government would remember!

Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for that is the only safeguard of our liberties.
Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation , conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.
Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right.
I could go on and on but I won't. It's just so crazy to read all of this and the truth just to have our present President say we are not a Christian founded country! Did he miss this. Does this now make me smarter than him?:)
Change, change, change....that's what they say. Thank you Lord that you NEVER change!!
